Mallory Worthington has had enough of being treated like a fragile flower. She needs to get out of Dodge, as far and fast as possible. Somewhere no one knows about her childhood battle with cancer. A talented chef working at her family’s flagship hotel, she leaps at the first job opportunity that meets her criteria – personal chef and nanny for a reclusive and insanely hot billionaire in the Florida Keys. She doesn't know a lot about the nanny part, but how hard can it be?
Billionaire Rhys Dalton cut himself off from the world after his wife was killed. Living on this remote island was the only way he could ensure the safety of his son. Finding someone willing to help him take care of his child, well that's been a challenge right up until Mallory knocks on his office door. She makes him think and feel things he hasn't in years. He's smart, so he fires her on the spot.
But she's not going anywhere, no matter how hard he might try to get rid of her...

Eileen's Thoughts

WOW!!! I loved, loved, loved, reading A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire by Regina Kyle, book two in her Billionaire series.
Cancer survivor Mallory, now an adult, needed to escape her overprotective parents so she takes a job as a nanny on an exclusive island. Mallory is not your typical nanny; she’s a professionally trained chef, take a leave from supervising the kitchen of her wealthy parent’s flagship hotel in New York City. She needed to make this break in order to take charge of her life. Rhys is a widowed father of a four-year old who has forgotten how to live life to the fullest; suffering survivor’s guilt after losing his wife in a terrorist attack; and not spending enough time with his son. After meeting Mallory, Rhys did not want her to continue in the job in fear of becoming attracted to her. After seeing her in action and connecting with his son, he allowed her to stay. He just had to avoid her to keep from falling for her.

I loved seeing Mallory grow more self-assured and confident in her interactions with Rhys. No longer fearing being fired, she stood up to Rhys, challenging him to spend time with his son, join him for meals, and reassess his priorities. Once Rhys decided he could no longer deny his attraction to Mallory, or their shared chemistry, he allowed himself to open up and realize he could love again. I loved Mallory’s obsession with nail polish, especially the comical names for the colors, and the fact that Rhys noticed this about Mallory. Of course Rhys also had an obsession, PEZ dispensers and its candy.

Ms. Kyle wrote a wonderfully moving story filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters that is not to be missed. I highly recommend this book to other readers.
