Lorelei's Thoughts
I truly enjoyed Dukes Prefer Blondes! I practically smiled throughout most of the book. I was drawn to this story because it begins as Oliver and Clara meet when they’re children. Their experience is unique and memorable and stays with them until they meet later as adults. This is something I’ve noticed I really enjoy. Oliver is now known as Raven as an adult, meets Clara again, and then the fun begins. Clara is a very intelligent, beautiful and adventurous lady. Their witty banter-of the sarcastic kind- is just so much fun! It had me smiling and riveted to the story. Rarely a dull moment. The romance is beautiful, swoon...
This was my first book by Loretta Chase and certainly not the last. I am drawn by her clever dialogue, charismatic characters and interesting story line. The audiobook is wonderful if you enjoy listening. Narrator Kate Reading does an amazing job. I highly recommend Loretta Chase if you enjoy witty, adventurous and romantic historical tales.
My next book by Loretta Chase will be A Duke In Shining Armor. My thoughts will be coming soon!
