 1. What genre(s) do you write?
Contemporary rom-coms full of quirky characters, witty banter, and romance that will rock your socks off!

2. Coffee or tea lover?
Tea, of course! You’ll know why soon enough. ;)

3. Name one thing on your bucket list.
I’ve actually checked off a few items on my bucket list already--skydiving, whitewater rafting, publishing a novel...but I think my next bucket list item will be to swim with dolphins.
 

4. Do you have pets?
I have two stuffed teddy bears named Kelsey and Kramer whom I share my bed with. My imaginary husband doesn’t mind.
 

5. When I wake up every morning I…Wish that my imaginary husband would make me breakfast.

6. Weirdest or unique thing you own.
My glow-in-the-dark retainers that I may or may not use to put on after-dark performances for close friends and family. :D
Yep, I’ve got the upper and lower retainers. I am THAT cool.

7. Do you have any hobbies or particular skills?
I play just about every sport out there, I can juggle four balls at once, and I’m a self-proclaimed karaoke queen (and dancing queen)!




8. What do you hope readers will experience or gain when reading your stories?
By the time someone finishes a story of mine, I hope they’ll believe love can happen to anyone, anywhere. But most of all, I want them to have a giant smile on their face. Nothing makes me happier than making someone else happy. :)

9. What inspired you to write “Steeped in Love”?
In this case, it was more of a ‘who’ inspired me. First and foremost, my mother challenged me to write something bigger than the short stories I’d written in the past. She knew there was something special hidden inside of me, and my crit partner and BFF, Margaret, helped me to realize that something special by working with me from beginning to end on this book, from brainstorming to rounds upon rounds of editing. I wanted to write a story that was different, charming, quirky, and full of hope. I think Steeped in Love accomplishes just that. :)
